Welcome to MH Designs

MH Designs is a family based design partnership, owned and operated by Mark and Amy Heslop, based in Coolum on the Sunshine Coast. MH Designs specialises in contemporary hand made furniture, artwork and accessories for the home.

Mark gained a BA (hons) Degree in Furniture Design and Craftsmanship from Buckinghamshire Chilterns University, High Wycombe UK. He designs and makes all furniture related products.

Amy paints all the original artwork and designs and makes the textiles products and home accessories. She has a BA (hons) in Textile and Surface Design from the same university, specialising in knitted textiles.

Mark and Amy moved from the north of England to Australia in 2006 and now live on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland. MH Designs was created in 2007, when a shared interest and knowledge in designing and making new and interesting ideas for home furnishings blossomed from a hobby into a small business.

New designs are added to the website when they are completed. We pride ourselves on originality and the highest quality, and where possible design and make with the environment and sustainability firmly in mind.
